Are you friendly, organized, and someone who enjoys making people feel welcome? Join TradeWorx Academy and help us create a positive experience for students learning practical, hands-on skills.
We’re looking for a dependable team member to support our front desk and daily workshop operations. You’ll be a welcoming first point of contact for students and visitors, help answer questions, and support our instructors so workshops run smoothly.
Schedule:
- Wednesdays: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Thursdays: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
- Fridays: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Greet students and visitors warmly and assist with workshop check-in.
- Answer phone calls and questions about classes, schedules, and registration.
- Assist customers with booking workshops and finding the information they need.
- Help instructors prepare for classes by setting out reference packets and support workshop setup and cleanup.
- Keep the front desk, refreshments, and shared areas organized and welcoming.
- Monitor supplies and communicate when items need replenishing.
- Capture workshop photos and short videos in accordance with participant permissions.
- Assist with routine administrative tasks and help keep daily operations on track.
What We’re Looking For:
- A friendly, patient, and professional approach to customer service.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Dependability, punctuality, and reliable follow-through.
- Comfort using computers and learning online scheduling and registration tools. Experience with Wix Bookings a plus.
- The ability to balance customer questions with other daily responsibilities.
- Initiative to notice what needs attention and pitch in without waiting to be asked.
